Registered Psychotherapist
Currently Accepting New Clients
Rebecca dedicates her practice to creating a safe, natural space where people feel comfortable to show up exactly as they are. She believes that effective therapy requires far more than a one-size-fits-all approach; that the process needs to be thoughtfully tailored to each and every client. With this, she not only strongly values the therapeutic relationship, but takes a compassionate and curious approach to each client's story, circumstances, and goals. She meets clients where they are to establish a constructive process that results in a positive path forward.
Some of the theories and therapies that Rebecca uses include: cognitive behavioural, behavioural, client-centered, narrative, solution-focused, acceptance and commitment, and psychoanalytic. She is a trauma-informed, culturally-sensitive practitioner qualified for independent practice with extensive experience in both the public and private mental health sectors. Rebecca has been supporting clients from a variety of backgrounds since 2018 via individual therapy, couples counselling, and crisis counselling.
In addition to being evidence-based, Rebecca's approach can be described as empathetic, open-minded, and versatile. It's not unusual for her to welcome a sense of humour within the therapeutic setting; and, continuously focuses on making the therapeutic journey an enriching one.
